We start with this: we are all alike, all the same. We all feel, think and react according to our software, our operating systems, our beliefs that create our reality. The same hardware, however different we may appear on the surface, with parts of our software the same and parts of our software unique and individual. And all human beings, however divided we may be through our nationalities, sex, cultures, religions, upbringings, politics, sexual preferences, experiences, histories and beliefs share one basic trauma. A wound that makes us the same and unites us far deeper than any of our differences can divide us.

We all faintly remember a time as children when we imagined and dreamed ourselves heroes and heroines, princes and princesses, mythical beings straight out of fairy tales, books and movies. What a beautiful sense of freedom it was, until many of us succumbed to being brought up in an environment that pushes us to “wake up”, to “grow up”, to “stop being naïve”, and acknowledge that “our world is hostile”. Society’s fear instils within us that in order to protect ourselves from being the prey; we must be suspicious, cautious predators. It was then that we allowed ourselves to believe that our dreams of magnificence, of a great, mythical life, where a sham, an illusion and our only option was to live common, safe lives like almost everybody else and that great acts were either performed by “special” people, different from us, or they were a lie, hiding self interest, hypocrisy and weakness. We allowed ourselves to be fooled by our gods: our parents, our teachers, our friends, our societies, so we had few options but to believe and abandon all our silly dreams of greatness and goodness.

These ingrained beliefs, in total contradiction of what moves us, excites us and fills us with passion in life, are the reason we all feel alone, separated, mistrustful, cautious and cynical with our world and everybody around us, punished with disillusionment and disappointment every time we dare to remember our highest selves, our childhood’s dreams and aspirations. Actually, it is the contradictions, the paradoxes inside us that prevent us from being happy, carefree, at peace with ourselves and the world around us, to be inspired by the beauty of the gift of life.

Our common denominator is our biggest wound. The trauma of our own betrayal of our ideals, of denial of the best within us. The numb pain that the best within us, our child’s soul, is silently disappointed at the adults we have become, at the flat lives we have ended up living where magic is not only absent but also nonexistent. We hurt so much at even contemplating that we may be wrong, that we have willingly relinquished our magnificence that we teach and try to convince our own children to give up their dreams. We try to quench their greatness just in case they may prove our own lives to be empty, wasted existences, we try to scare them and fill them with anxieties and mistrust, to make them choose safety over happiness, just as our parents did with us.

We dream of an ever growing society of new human beings who dare to commit the hubris of choosing their own perceptions, their own beliefs, choosing the world they wish to live in, choosing who they want to be instead of succumbing to a collective, fear driven perception of reality. We dream of our evolution from homo sapiens, the thinking man, to homo delectus, the choosing man. An evolution no longer dependent on survival of the physically fittest, but an evolution dependent on our own choice, architects all of our own selves, our own self programmers. Programmers for happiness, open heart and oneness. Not in competition for survival but in collaboration for happiness. A society of happy, magnificent, mythical human beings. Human beings who write their own life’s story, who are their story’s heroes, who allow themselves to be as beautiful and special as they wish, who decide to no longer be powerless spectators of their lives.

Our vision is an ever growing society of new human beings who dare to commit the hubris of choosing their own perceptions, their own beliefs, choosing the world they wish to live in, choosing who they want to be instead of succumbing to a collective, fear driven perception of reality. A society of happy, magnificent, mythical human beings. Human beings who write their own life’s story, who are their story’s heroes, who allow themselves to be as beautiful and special as they wish, who decide to no longer be powerless spectators of their lives. Our vision is of future educational systems where self programming and choice are the most important and prioritized subjects in the curiculum, before even reading and writing, where children are taught to be proud, powerful creators of their own selves rather than victims full of shame, guilt, anger and fear. A vision of working together for our individual and collective happiness with collective art, joining the divine modalities of creativity and oneness, the main descriptive axes in any religion, spiritual practice and culture. A mythic vision filled with mythic beings for all who choose it, one day to become our default condition through our children and our children's children, an evolutionary leap for humanity.
